“The good old days.” “I miss the old days.” “Life was simpler then.”
We look/think/dream back a few decades and see a time in the rearview mirror when the world was in ever so much better shape.
11am, 11/11/1918. The day the guns fell silent in Europe, after over 4 years of the bloodiest war ever. The war that became known as the Great War. Or the War to End All Wars.
I was in professional photography school. One day we heard that the King was coming to town. This was our chance to all test out being news/celebrity/paparazzi photographers.
